Kia ora and welcome!

My name is Cindy, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be the Centre Manager and Owner of Tadpoles, a modern, purpose-built Early Childhood Centre located in the heart of Māngere Bridge.

I have been in the teaching profession for over 32 years, starting my career in the primary education sector. After many years in the classroom, I stepped into leadership roles and became the Deputy Principal of a large South Auckland intermediate school. When I started my own family, I felt a natural pull towards Early Childhood Education—and I’ve never looked back!

As a mum to two busy teenage boys, I fully understand the challenges that come with balancing work and family life. This personal experience has shaped my strong belief in creating a ‘home away from home’ environment at Tadpoles—a place where children and their families feel welcome, respected, and valued.

I am incredibly passionate about learning and providing children with experiences that help them build the skills and confidence they need to become life-long learners. I feel so lucky to work alongside such a dynamic, enthusiastic team who love what they do as much as I do.
